Benefit Concert a Great Success

Tonight citizens of Second Life came together to raise funds for the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life” in the beautiful sim of Hiriam. Ridha played for over an hour to an appreciative crowd. He weaved a beautiful medley of songs that each had meaning for the event. The crowd showed their appreciation to Ridha and for all the people who worked so hard putting on the show by donating over 30,000L to Relay for Life.(In spite of the fact Second Life gremblins tried unsuccessfully to interrupt the party.)

Inspired

Ridha performed at the lovely venue Phat Cat’s Jazz Club Saturday and it seemed like the beautiful atmosphere inspired him. Lovers danced and dreamers, dreamed as Ridha performed a vast array of captivating love melodies. It was a memorable evening for all..thank you Ridha.

A Garden of Eden

It was a beautiful setting for beautiful music as Ridha performed at a housewarming party for Marianne, a member of Ridha’s Second Life fan club. As the ducks quacked (and Ridha too!) Ridha sang a medley of love songs that melted away any chill the night air might provide. A wonderful time was had by all thank you Maryanne and thank you Ridha!

Dance!

Ridha rocked the house at the Visual Life! Benvenuto in Visual Life Thursday to an eager and packed house. As is expected, Ridha did not disappoint but kept the house dancing whether with his wonderful love songs or his upbeat numbers…people could not stay off their feet. Of one note, I personally love Ridha’s rendition of “Imagine” and when he sings it at the end of the show it leaves all with the hope of peace. What a lovely message…peace.

Imagine

Today in Second Life people from all cultures came together to join in a wonderful way to celebrate the message of "music." Ridha outdid himself with music mixing..singing song after song and not stopping. The crowd loved him as he mixed his world music and his upbeat dance numbers. The highlight however had to be when at the end we all came together and sang “Imagine” and “Yesterday”. It was truly inspirational and reminded us how important we all are to each other...and how important the message peace is. Can you Imagine?

Ridha in Roses

Roseland Ballroom is always a stunning venue to play and seems such a perfect match to the beauty of Ridha’s music. The dance floor was full and the music filled the air!. What a wonderful way to spend a Friday night..BRAVO Ridha, wonderful as always.

Sorry, We're Full!

Ridha played Sunday evening to a packed (and I do mean packed) SIM of Horan. A shoehorn would not have helped as desperate fans pleaded to to be let in the party—but alas, there was no more room! The lucky ones that made it in danced the night away. Lesson learned, arrive early and be one of the lucky ones that gets to be part of the festivities!

Ridha Serves Up a Great Concert

Ridha performed in the lovely SIM of Torino Vera of Friday evening to a much appreciative crowd. After a rocky start due to server problems, Ridha got the concert back on track by kicking into the blues and the whole dance floor was full (“No bad stream is gonna hurt Ridha’s soul!) As is always the case, Ridha thinks about his fans first and played an extra 15 minutes. Yeah Ridha!

Our Treasure

Ridha performed Thursday, March 13th at the lovely SIM Alantide Romantic Island and it was wonderful. This is a new venue for Ridha and it is always fun watching the crowd as they become breathless listening at his voice and music. So many people whisper to me “Is he playing live?” OF COURSE! As I travel Second Life I see so many artists singing along to canned music from their IPOD / karaoke style. Ridha is a real life artist who has played at some of the most prestigious venues in the world. What you hear is 100% Ridha.

What a treasure we have in our Second Life backyard.

Unwrap the Magic

So often I am asked if I get tired going to a Ridha concert. I usually smile and answer how could I, but I think that last night is a perfect example of why each minute at a Ridha concert is unique and special. Ridha is not only a talented musician and lovely man, but many like I call him “friend.” During last nights concert Ridha was joined in his studio in Italy by many of his friends, associates and fellow artists. It was a thrill for me to know that the people I had heard so many tales about were sharing a Second Life concert with all of us. The night seemed to take on a magical feeling knowing these people were with us. When I think of a Ridha concert I often describe it as that present you get for no reason at all…just because. The anticipation of the concert is like looking at the beautiful wrapping and wondering just what wonders it holds inside. Once the concert begins, the paper is peeled back and we get to once again be part of Ridha's musical magic

Do I ever get tired of going to a Ridha concert? Not in a million years will I tire of it. I hold each one as the special unique gift they are…just like our Ridha.

The Color of Music

It was “ Black & White Ballgown” night at the Rosewood Ballroom as the monochrome dancers were anything but listening to the colorful sounds of Ridha! It was a lovely evening despite a few crashes by Second Life, but party goers found their way back to the fun and it was pretty seamless considering Second Life was up to her old tricks. The highlight for me was the lovely song Ridha ended the evening with, a beautiful Arabic song that still sends shivers down my spine when I think of it. I hate to say it but, will a night pass now without a request for this breathtaking song…probably not! Perhaps Ridha can post the name, so you all know which song to request! Thank you Ridha, you made our night not only lovely but brought the color back to our dancing..bravo!

Magnifique!

The world entertainer gave a wonderful performance in Hiriam Wednesday playing to a large French audience singing song after song in their native tongue. It was breathtaking. What a world treasure we have in Second Life with Ridha. The large crowd appreciated the beauty that was the evening..thank you Ridha

Music Along the Golden Shore

Ridha sang tonight before a predominantly lady crowd as he swooned them with his love songs, had them dancing to his upbeat disco mix (my favorite was definitely the Honey Song) and then took it out with more music for the heart. It was a beautiful setting for a beautiful show.
