Song Sung Blue Fusion

It was a lovely evening at the Blue Fusion Jazz Club as dancers swayed to the beautiful sounds of Ridha. The packed dance floor was treated to tune after tune by this incredible singer. Rumor has it Ridha is packing them in at each show, so if you want to see him get to his concerts early or you may be locked out!

Cento di questi giorni

Each night Ridha performs in Second Life he never ceases to amaze the audience. The man is a music machine—cranking out one up tempo after another and then switching to some great blues and swing. Ridha was again joined by the dancing duo “Hot & Spicy” and they helped heat up the audience as they pulled out two giant champagne glasses from their bag of tricks and danced the night away. Great night—thanks as always Ridha!

Paparazzi!

Recently Ridha performed at the Brightfield Virtual Revolutionary Fashion Event. It was an incredible performance by anyone's standard. The evening was captured by photographer Jody Smith.

He Was On Fire!

HOT! Yes it was. Horan was SMOKING! Ridha performed in his usual splendor but the highlight had to be when Lemania and Cathy came out in their fiery outfits and danced for the Latin set…tequila! What a fun night—Ridha filled the SIM to the limit. We are not sure if Horan will ever be the same!

Blue Fusion

John Steinbeck once penned, “The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.” This seemed to hold true in Blue Fusion Monday night, but being the pro he is, Ridha gave a full performance before a large crowd. Ridha certainly showed the crowd that even in the midst of uncertainty and turmoil, the show must go on. Bravo Ridha!

Lights, Camera, Action!

Saturday January 19 Ridha along with Swina Allen took their Jammin Mood on the road to the Swiss Arena and what a night it was. As a bonus, their 2+ hour concert was broadcast live on DBC radio tv. DBC radio tv ranks among the top online radio channels as well as a streaming TV station and live podcast provider. It originates out of Switzerland.

PedroMeya Martynov, owner of Swiss Arena said, “We all enjoy Second Life and want to spread the experience of good Live Music all over SL and RL.”  I have to believe all those in attendance watching or listening on DBC radio tv had a great time tonight.

Cruci Halberd of Swiss Arena stated, " Ridha and Swina Live @ Swiss Arena was one of the most entertaining shows to date at the Swiss Arena. Their musical improvisations were captivating and exhilarating to listen to. Their melodies spanned many genre's from Jazz, to Blues, to Rock with a taste of Arabic. I would highly recommend this Musical Duo to anyone who truly enjoys music.

Wonderful job Ridha and Swina you keep the music alive for all!

Such a lovely place, Such a lovely face

“Italy’s Heaven” Horan hosted a wonderful concert with Ridha Wednesday evening. It’s very difficult to pick a highlight (I was sobbing at points of this concert it was that beautiful) but I know the whole crowd was singing (typing) along to Ridha’s version of Hotel California—so I guess that was the moment of the night! Thank you Cathy who hosted the event on behalf of Horan for snapping these photo’s for me—you are great!

Crash, Boom, Ridha

The crowd in Istanbul was enthusiastic, in fact one audience member was so moved she felt a need to hop up on Ridha’s piano and be part of the show. As much as Ridha loves all his fans, it’s best if we all stay on the dance floor and let Ridha and his music remain center stage (plus you never know when you might scratch his Steinway!) Half way through the event the Sim crashed (we attribute this to the fact that Ridha’s performance was even too hot for Second Life to handle.) But no fear, Ridha came back and performed a variety of wonderful music—the blues set had the fans screaming for more!

Special thanks to Barbarella Noel for snapping the pictures for this event!

Don't Stop the Music!

Spunky’s BT was the location of tonight’s concert and wow…even Ridha had a hard time stopping the music. The nearly all lady dance floor was swooning as Ridha ended the evening with a medley of love songs.

Ridha Smokes!

Ridha was on fire (and evidently so was the crowd) in Horan this evening as he had the audience swinging, swooning and combusting! He started slow and turned up up ending with the blues and some musical standards. His music ignited a flame in the crowd that will take awhile to put out!

So Lovely

Ridha performed live at the Brightfield Virtual's Revolutionary Fashion Event Saturday evening before a packed house. The fashionable crowd was treated to a set full of love songs and then Ridha weaved in his world music and ended upbeat with a show stopping mix including an amazing rendition of “When the Saints Come Marching In.” It was a “lovely” evening indeed!

Disco Time Horan!

What a night! Horan’s new disco opened this week and Ridha was there to celebrate with style. The crowd was amazing and full of fun including a group of Cathy’s Dutch friends and our dear friend Nox who showed up as a peg legged pirate! Ridha was great as always…he was rocking so much it seemed two party goers could not keep themselves from climbing up the disco dance towers and performing for us all!

P.S. The afterglow party at the Mood was great (Happy Birthday Nef and Lilly) but we need to question the pick of best hat going to a ½ naked blues man in a pumpkin hat. If you ask nicely maybe a picture could find its way to this blog…you never know!

Ridha Rocks the House

Ridha performed to a packed house in Hiriam Sunday, leaving people begging for more. The music was as always amazing but a highlight had to be the new song he introduced combining an Arabic tune with a flamingo style guitar. Way to go Ridha!

On Fire!

Thursday evening in Second Life found the magna and music flowing, as Ridha was hotter than ever on the Lava Pit stage. Those in attendance were treated to a variety of wonderful world music and got to hear a glimpse of what sounded like new voices emanating from his studio…hmmmm. Maybe Ridha got a new toy for Christmas?

Thank you Cloudia Lusch for snapping this great close up of Ridha!

Jammin Mood

Where does one begin…grabs the Thesaurus.. dynamite, exceptional, expert, fab*, fantastic, fine, first-rate, good, marvelous, masterly, number one*, perfect, positive, proficient, skilled… well you get the idea. Ridha and Swina, also known as the Jammin Mood played before a packed house this evening at Torino Vera: Piazza Castello. It was well indescribable!
